Guided Walks and other events

Discovering Horndean's countryside and wildlife with the Countryside Team as your guides.

Each summer the Countryside Team run a programme of guided walks and events. These include a variety of treks around the local nature reserves, the ever popular pub walk over Windmill Hill to the Red Lion at Chalton for Sunday Lunch and walks during Hampshire Woodland Week and Hampshire Heathland Week.

You can discover more about bugs and beasts, wild flowers, trees, local landscape, moths, butterflies and how we manage the habitats to keep them all thriving.

The Annual Woodland Fair takes place annually on the third Sunday in May

This year it will be on 18 May 2008, from 10am to 4pm
