Horndean Parish Council can offer rooms suitable for receptions, parties, events, social functions and meetings at its two Halls. Both halls offer kitchen facilities, parking and have wheelchair access and disabled toilet facilities.

Napier Hall

Napier Hall is situated on the Portsmouth Road (next to the Colonial Bar) and has two rooms. The main hall is approximately 18 x 7 metres with a maximum capacity of 90 persons. The smaller rear hall is suitable for meetings etc and has as a capacity of 30 persons. There is a well equipped kitchen which is included in the hire charge. Napier Hall has recently undergone improvement works to bring the hall into line with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.

9am - 10.30pm, Monday to Thursday
9am - 11pm,  Friday
9am - 11.30pm, Saturday

 Jubilee Hall

Jubilee Hall is a new facility sited at the junction of Crouch Lane and Catherington Lane. Set in an area of Open Space with plenty of parking space this hall is modern with easy access and good facilities. The hall is approximately 12.5 x 8 metres with a maximum capacity of 100 people (90 if seated).

Hours of opening:

9am - 10.30pm, Sunday to Thursday
9am - 11.00pm, Friday & Saturday

Please note that there are vehicle height restrictions at Jubilee Hall preventing vehicles over 2 metres (6'6") high gaining access to the car park.

It should also be noted that vehicular access stops several metres from the building and any equipment required in the hall will have to be manhandled for a distance of approximately 30 metres (further if they use a high vehicle). The Caretakers do not carry keys for the restriction bollard or the height barrier and therefore cannot give access.

Please note: As Jubilee Hall is not located directly on a road your Sat Nav or GPS device may have some problems in accurately locating the hall using the postal address of Crouch Lane, Horndean PO8 9SU. Jubilee Hall has the GPS co - ordinates of Latitude N 50degs 54.59mins and Longitude W 01deg and 00.47mins. If you can input these co-ordinates into your Sat Nav / GPS device these will bring you directly the Jubilee Hall car park.
