Carol Service 2022

We would like to thank all those who attended the Carol Service on Tuesday evening, with a special thank you to all participants, who helped make the evening a memorable one - Blendworth Brass Band, Sound Advice AV Installations and all the local Churches of Horndean.

Thank you to Daisie Latter, student from Horndean Technology College for performing the first verse of Once in Royal David's City as a solo so beautifully.

The event was very well attended, with an impressive £264.53 being collected during the service for Horndean and Clanfield Foodbank, coordinated by Horndean Baptist Church.

We hope you all have an enjoyable Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Tree Carvings

Following the removal of the diseased trees afflicted with Ash Dieback on Catherington Lith and Yeolls Copse, Council resolved to leave a few tree stumps and have carvings done to beautify the area.  For Yeolls Copse we were able to secure grant funding from EHDC District Councillor Christopher Hatter.  The carvings at Catherington Lith is funded by South Downs National Park Community Infrastructure Levy.

We contracted a very talented gentleman to do the carvings. Please visit his website for more examples of his work:
